Our Lofoten trips are small: never more than ten guests, two guides and a lot of sky. This summer we need another mountain guide at our base in Reine.

What you will do

  • Lead day hikes and multi-day traverses, including Reinebringen and the Kjerkfjord ridge
  • Check weather, routes and kit with your co-guide every morning
  • Look after guests' safety, pace and spirits
  • Tell the story of the islands, from cod fishing to the midnight sun

What you bring

  • At least two seasons of guiding in the mountains
  • An outdoor first aid certificate
  • Good English; Norwegian or German is a plus
  • Calm judgement when the weather turns
