We made the Vinter for our winter trips in Finland and Norway, where the snow is dry, deep and very cold. Two hundred grams of synthetic insulation and a removable felt liner keep your toes warm through long, slow days on snowshoes.
The outsole stays soft in the cold and has a groove at the heel that holds snowshoe and microspike straps in place. A high, padded collar and an integrated gaiter ring keep snow out when you are breaking trail.
