About Northwilds
We take small groups to big places
Northwilds started with one guide, one minibus and a ridge in Lofoten. Today we run 32 trips in nine countries, still in small groups.
Our story
Slow, small and properly local
We believe the best trips are led by people who live where you are going. Our guides grew up in the mountains and on the coasts they show you, and they choose the huts, kitchens and campsites they would choose for their own friends.
We keep groups small because it is kinder to the places we visit and better for the people who come. We plan routes that take trains where we can, and we put a share of every booking into the trails we walk.
Go slowly, go together, and leave every place a little better than you found it.
