Three days of easy kayaking between the pink granite islands of the Stockholm archipelago, camping on our own island.

  • Paddle between thousands of smooth granite islands
  • Two nights camping on an island with no one else on it
  • Sauna on the shore, then a jump into the Baltic
  • Cinnamon buns baked over the fire by Jonas
  • Ideal for first-time kayakers

About the trip

An hour from Stockholm, the archipelago breaks into tens of thousands of islands, many of them small, smooth and covered in pine and blueberries. Under Sweden's right to roam you may camp on almost any of them, and that is exactly what we do.

We paddle stable double kayaks for three to four hours a day, with long breaks for swimming and lunch on the rocks. No experience is needed: Jonas teaches you everything on the first morning.

What's included

  • Double sea kayaks, paddles and spray decks
  • Tents, sleeping mats and camp kitchen
  • All meals from Friday lunch to Sunday lunch
  • Jonas as your guide
  • Transfer from Stockholm central station
