Snæfellsnes coast
4.87(92)Snæfellsnes peninsula, IcelandCoast

Five days walking Iceland's 'Iceland in miniature': black beaches, lava fields, sea cliffs and the glacier from Jules Verne.
- Kirkjufell, Iceland's most photographed mountain
- Seal colonies on the golden beach of Ytri Tunga
- Basalt cliffs full of puffins and kittiwakes
- The Snæfellsjökull glacier above it all
About the trip
Snæfellsnes packs a whole country into one peninsula: lava fields covered in moss, black pebble beaches, fishing villages, waterfalls and a glacier-topped volcano that Jules Verne chose as the entrance to the centre of the Earth.
Walks are short and easy, three to four hours a day, so there is time for hot pools and seafood soup. It is the gentlest way to see Iceland.
What's included

- Breakfasts and dinners
- All transport on the peninsula
- Finn as your guide
- Transfers from Reykjavík
